Why is cooling data centers so challenging?  Most data centers have uncovered cable openings that leak air, reducing the static air pressure of the under floor cooling system.  The problem often isn’t a lack of cooling capacity, but improper cold air delivery.  Installing more cooling capacity won’t necessarily solve the problem.  In order to get cold air to go where you want it, you have to stop it from going where you don’t want it to go.
